mixed experience warrants caution
damp smellstained carpets
the room smelled damp without the air con running i found this rather unpleasant. the carpets seemed like they needed professional cleaning i noticed several stains. some staff members was unhappy this impacted the overall atmosphere. i was not informed about breakfast details at check-in causing confusion.

the room included a nespresso machine with capsules , a feature i definitely used. the bathroom was very spacious , it had very good lighting. the beds were the best i have slept on during my travels in asia , very comfortable.
the gym was a bit small , it felt cramped when more than one person was using it.

the location was fantastic near the hku mtr station. i found dim sum places and roast goose spots just a short walk away. the harbor side rooms on higher floors have a soothing view for me. staff members showed me sincere understanding with smiles which i appreciate.

the hotel is a short walk from the hku station. i found many shops cafes and restaurants nearby. the hotel's location gave me convenient access to transportation. belcher bay promenade is also close for walking.

automatic blindsfriendly staffstrong smellold building
the rooms was clean, this is true. the shower worked great with a high pressure head, i liked it. i also liked automatic blackout blinds in my room, very helpful. staff are friendly and always willing to help, i feel very appreciated.
the building looked old, i saw it. there was strong smell of mold, a serious problem is visible. the hotel gave me another room, thats fine. the room has humidity everywhere, i didnt liked it.

The hotel is new. My room was spacious and very clean. The location is great, with public transport easily accessible. I appreciated the helpful and friendly staff always ready to assist, and the view from my room was really good.
The gym felt a little small when more than one person was there, though it had everything I needed..
